Charles Albert Tindley

Methodist minister, gospel composer, preacher, and early Black sacred music figure.
Tindley rose from poverty and limited formal schooling to become one of the most influential Black preachers and hymn writers of his era. His song “I’ll Overcome Someday” is often connected to the later freedom anthem “We Shall Overcome.”
Bobbi Kristina Brown

Singer, television personality, and daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown.
