David “Honeyboy” Edwards was one of the last living links to the early Delta blues tradition. Born in Shaw, Mississippi, he traveled and performed with major blues figures, including Big Joe Williams and Robert Johnson, carrying firsthand stories from the roots of the blues into the 21st century.
