Russell became one of the greatest winners in sports history, leading the Boston Celtics to 11 NBA championships. Beyond basketball, he stood publicly for civil rights, challenged racism, and used his platform to speak with strength and principle.
Dorothy Brunson

Full name: Dorothy Edwards Brunson
Born March 13, 1939 — died July 31, 2011
Broadcaster, radio station owner, television station owner, and media entrepreneur.
Brunson became the first African American woman to own a radio station and later one of the first Black women to own a television station. Her work in broadcasting helped expand Black ownership and representation in American media.
